Like a Cuban sandwich, many ingredients must come together harmoniously to make a good Mini. It has to be agile, have usable space and an eager personality.

But what happens when you replace ham with anchovy – will it still be a Cuban sandwich? Likewise, if you switch out the Mini’s petrol drivetrain for an electric one, will it still be a Mini?
