Taiwan’s generational divide over Hong Kong

After seeing images of Hong Kong police beating protesters and bystanders last month, Mr Alex Ko, 23, leapt into action.

An administrator with the Che-Lam Presbyterian Church in Taipei, he convinced his congregation to begin accepting donations of gas masks, goggles and even fruit for protesters in Hong Kong.
