United States President Donald Trump has said he is ready to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un today at the demilitarised zone (DMZ) separating the two Koreas, shake hands and even step across the border onto North Korean soil.

Questions remain as to whether Mr Kim will show up, but experts who think so say it will be hugely symbolic for the two to meet at such a historically significant location.
