Ordering a product from Singapore-based skincare brand Alcheme works a little differently from the norm – the company wants your selfies.

Shoppers go to the company’s website, upload a make-up-free selfie, answer a few questions about their daily skin routine and wait for the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to produce individualised reports.
